Job Description:
A company is looking for a Benefits Verification Specialist to
verify patient-specific benefits for client programs.
Key Responsibilities
Contact insurance companies to verify patient benefits and document
coverage specifics
Triages cases with missing information and identifies restrictions
to expedite patient access
Completes quality reviews of work and reports reimbursement trends
to management
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree
preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, medical
billing, coding, or benefits verification
Strong benefits verification and advanced customer service
experience
Proficient in Windows-based applications and Microsoft Office
Suite
Familiarity with insurance benefits verification preferred
