We pride ourselves on integrity, knowledge and state of the art technology all in an effort to provide our customers with excellent customer service and the best rates possible.Under general supervision of the Branch Manager, the Loan Processor is responsible for preparing mortgage documents for loanapproval, advising mortgage lenders of needed documents according to established regulations and procedures and working withthe title/escrow company towards "closing."Responsibilities:Essential job functionsSet up new files- Ordering appraisals- Order title commitments, flood certifications, and other property certifications as required- Customer contact regarding conditions required on loan approval- Send for verifications as neededProcess active files for final approval- Re-submit for automated approval after verification of assets and income- After loan approval, call customers and realtors with any conditionsIssue closing instructions to closing department- Order survey- Order final inspections- Follow up on underwriting conditions still outstanding- Check loan amount, interest rate, etc. in computer for accuracy- Have evidence of POC'sConstantly monitor lock expirations and close dates- Inform loan officer immediately of any change in closing date, etc.Coordinate closings with title/escrow companyFollow up on missing conditionsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum requirementsAdvanced knowledge of processing FHA,VA and Conventional loans preferredHigh School or GED requiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to produce detailed and accurate documentsAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to work independently without direct supervisionAbility to perform work timely and accurately in a fast paced office environmentOrganizational ability and problem solving criticalAbility to use various computer softwareMin: USD $21.00/Hr. Max: USD $27.00/Hr.
