Job Description:

Sunny Days is seeking a full-time eligibility evaluation scheduler. We provide services to children birth - 3 years old who may have developmental delays. The scheduler guides the family through the early stages of receiving an evaluation for developmental services. This position is an opportunity to make a difference for families and requires such traits as; sensitivity, empathy and tenacity.Duties consist of but not limited to:Scheduling therapists who conduct assessments within the client's homeKeeping updated on the therapists availabilityExplaining the evaluation process to families and helping them complete the paperworkEnsuring that all paperwork is completed prior to the evaluationKeeping the information in the data base currentEnsuring evaluation supplies/materials are preparedBilling for evaluation services through the Regional Center billing systemOther duties as requestedMinimum Requirements:Two years of administrative and data entry experience; efficiency using ExcelCommunicate effectively with internal staff and external personnelGreat follow-through skillsMust have attention to detail and strong organizational skillsPrevious experience in scheduling employees/therapists is a PLUSBilingual in Spanish and English requiredMust love problem solving and find enjoyment in solving puzzles (fitting the pieces of family and therapist schedules together).Sunny Days of California, Inc. provides quality, home-based, early intervention services children birth to 18 years who have developmental delays and/or disabilities.
