Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of diverse contracts for departments across the organization in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. Contracts include physician and medical groups, software as a service, construction and vendor contracts. Collaborate and advise department stakeholders on contract details. Provide timely responses to redlined versions of contracts provided by external vendors. Provide advice on legal, regulatory, and contractual matters having a material impact on the organization's strategic and operational goals. Provide oversight of acquisitions and other expansion projects as requested by Corporate Director In-House Counsel. Support the organization on compliance with laws impacting health care, including Medicare laws and regulations, Stark, the Anti-kickback Statute, HIPAA and other data protection laws.Job Requirementsa. Minimum Education Requirement :Juris Doctor Degree required.b. Minimum Experience Requirement :2 years of experience in either a law firm or in-house counsel role drafting a wide range of contracts is required.c. Minimum License Requirement :California State Bar required. Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC) or privacy/cybersecurity preferred (CHPS, CIPP, CISSP).Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.
