Description: Job Description: Seeking a seasoned full-stack web
engineer (Java) to contribute to the development of our next
generation of customer web experiences. As part of an Agile team,
the senior developer in this role will be responsible for the
design, development, and unit testing of RESTful API services built
on Java Springboot. You will actively collaborate with Business
stakeholders to anticipate emergent needs and support business
agility. • Play a central role in creating a world-class digital
offering and overall customer experience • Live and breathe our
coding culture around testable, high-quality code and peer code
review • Identify ways to improve design and development processes
as client continues its Agile transformation • Work closely with
teammates across UI and service layers, as well as testing and
other members of our extended team • Review business
requirements/functional specifications and provide guidance on
proposed technology solutions • Support continuous improvement of
our integration and deployment pipelines • Communicate effectively
with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels •
Ensure adherence to architecture standards, risk management and
security policies • Advocate Agile, test driven development (TDD)
and continuous integration Skills & Requirements: • 5 years of
professional development experience, with at last 2 years in a
senior role • 3 years of Java Framework Programming (e.g. GWT,
Spring, J2EE, Struts) • Strong technical leadership skills, with
ability to direct and influence multiple technical teams and
organizations • RESTful services development • Web application
performance analysis and tuning • Deep understanding of data
design, master data management, application integration • SDLC
experience in planning, creating, testing, and deployment • Version
Control using Git, GitHub • Modern build automation tools • Cloud
development experience • Experience in systems analysis, modular
design and creating APIs • Experience integrating applications with
existing back-end IT systems and databases Extra Points: •
Front-end JavaScript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, ReactJS) • Heroku
• HTML5, CSS3, SCSS
