Sterile Processing Tech Location: Fullerton, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,120 to $1,280 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00/Hourly. Summary: A Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and preparing medical instruments and equipment used in healthcare settings. They ensure all surgical tools and devices are safe, functional, and ready for patient use, maintaining strict infection control standards. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Decontaminate and clean used surgical instruments and medical equipment. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage. Assemble and package surgical instrument sets according to established guidelines. Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and washer-disinfectors. Monitor and document sterilization processes to ensure compliance. Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and inventory. Store sterile supplies in a safe and organized manner. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, CSPDT (CBSPD)/CRCST (HSPA-IAHCSMM), CFER Preferred, Locals accepted at lower rate.
