Job Description:
A company is looking for a PAC Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
Manage length of stay for assigned post-acute care facilities
through scheduled telephonic reviews and collaboration with
facility personnel
Authorize continued stays and determine medical necessity using
clinical expertise and approved guidelines
Act as a clinical resource for unlicensed staff and communicate any
provider issues to the supervisor
Required Qualifications
Current and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or
Registered Nurse
Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing/Practical Nursing or
equivalent
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a clinical setting
Expertise in Utilization Management and knowledge of URAC & NCQA
standards
Broad knowledge of healthcare delivery/managed care regulations and
evidence-based care guidelines
