Job Description:
A company is looking for a Regional Interconnection Manager
responsible for managing the interconnection process and strategic
transmission assessments in target markets across the US.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and update strategic plans for new markets, including
tariff and interconnection process assessments
Lead the interconnection process and negotiations for new
development projects, including managing consultants and conducting
power flow simulations
Represent the company in relationships with utilities, ISOs, and
stakeholders regarding transmission and interconnection issues
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with an emphasis on power
systems
Master's degree in Engineering, Energy Policy, or Business is
preferred
8-10 years of experience in transmission planning and power
generation interconnections
Expert knowledge of generation interconnection tariffs and
agreements in key markets
Strong project management and negotiation skills
