Job Description:
Our large, consumer products / media entertainment client
headquartered in Irvine is seeking an Accounting Manager to manage
the daily operational accounting functions of a growing business
segment to ensure accurate reporting and analysis of financial
information as well as spearhead process improvement initiatives.

expansion plans for the future. For this role, the Accounting
Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Assist and manage the daily and month-end accounting operations for
a growing business unit while supervising a growing accounting
function Identify and champion opportunities to promote streamlined
processes, financial systems, operational efficiencies and enhanced
internal controls Prepare the department for external audits and
liaise with external auditors to support the audit of external
filings and ensure accurate data and filings Partner with other
corporate functions and leadership including Finance and Financial
Reporting to ensure regulatory reporting and financial controls
compliance and provide forecast analysis Assist in the
implementation of best practices as well as participate in the
implementation of the organization’s ERP system Lead and/or
participate in organizational goals and departmental projects and
initiatives that drive process improvement within the accounting
function The qualified Accounting Manager must possess the
following: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred
At least eight years of related work experience – combination of
public accounting with a Big 4 or 2nd tier national firm AND
private industry experience within a large multi-entity operating
organization Prior managerial experience required Media &
Entertainment industry experience is highly preferred but not
