Job Description:

Salary: $14.00 per Hour _Part - Time Office & Accounting Assistant at Information Technology Company - duties to include but are not limited to: _ Working independently with minimal supervision at a small information technology company, performing diversified, advanced and confidential secretarial, administrative, customer service and office sales related work. Relieving department head of routine administrative details and tasks. Using discretionary initiative and judgment when screening visitors and telephone calls, organizing workload to meet established priorities. Resolving routine and some complex inquiries and fulfilling requests from internal & external business contacts using knowledge of division/department, organization policies & procedures. Providing customer service and sales support by formatting, typing, editing, and sending a variety of complex or technical material, including but not limited to correspondence, memos, reports, presentations, sales quotes, purchase orders, invoices and other confidential material. Managing company spreadsheets, data entry and other administrative tasks may also be required. Flexibility will be needed to adjust to regularly changing priorities and work assignments. Minimum Education: High school diploma. Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of administrative, secretarial, or sales experience in office setting and versatility in use of computers and related office software, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Adobe Suite. Desired Skills/Abilities: Proficient in using computers, office software, and office equipment such as a photocopier, fax machine, printer, scanner.Average typing speed of 40 to 65 words per minute.Excellent organizational skills, with ability to manage daily tasks and workload when left unsupervised.Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving ability, and be able to follow directions.Ability to answer phone calls in professional manner, as well as clearly speak and be understood on the phone.Exceptional listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.Basic mathematical skills, including but not limited to, performing additions, subtractions, multiplications and computing percentages.Positive, helpful, and professional attitude in person, as well as over phone and e-mail, when dealing with customers, vendors, and team members.Capable of compiling, inputting, retrieving and organizing data and reports, including maintaining a filing system.Ability to stay calm and work under pressure to meet company goals.Ability to work in a small office environment.Job Type: Part-time - 8 to 20 hours a weekSalary: $14.00 per HourJob Type: Part-timePay: $14.00 per hourBenefits: Flexible scheduleSchedule: 4 hour shift Day shift
